Addressing Female Health Worker Shortage in Northern Nigeria: Community Level Accountability 

The dual centres of power continue to exist in many African countries where the traditional system of authority flourishes side by side with state power.  These systems are often used by state leaders in Northern Nigeria to push their agendas that communities view as suspicious, such as polio eradication.
