Approaches to implementing Community monitoring/accountability
Partnered with Family Care International (FCI) and conducted community score card in public heath facility i.e Health Centre in Kitui and Nakuru counties.
Results and lessons
Documented challenges and possible solutions to access to quality maternal health care in twelve (12) health centres.
Involvement of facility committees, service providers, clients and county leaders i.e members of county assembly.
Lessons:
Improved economic situation and involvement of both male and females in the maternal child care leads to improved access to skill deliveries, antenatal and prenatal clinics.
