Holistic Action Research and Development

Context

Holistic Action Research & Development (HARD) is a voluntary organisation working for the overall development of the poorest of the poor sections of the society. Registered as society in 1999, it has been working in villages of Kotma and Anuppur block, Anuppur district. At present the organisation is engaged in increasing awareness level regarding Panchayati Raj Institutions and Self Help Group formation trainings. Besides, they are also involved in activities like skill development program for school dropout youth in rural areas, community based monitoring of health services, and training and capacity building of CBO's at the village level. HARD is also a partner with the Madhya Pradesh Government in implementing rural livelihood project in villages of Anuppur Block.
