Approaches to implementing Community monitoring/accountability

Citizen engagement is the primer for accountability. We at ISDF promote greater engagement and cohesion amongst the users and service providers for reducing the mis-trust that breeds over the decades. We also strongly believe in transparency which enables accountability. Combining communities into clusters help us to better transform the critical information for improved service delivery.

Results and Lessons

We are working on transparency and accountability for few years and just reshaped and renamed our earlier youth movement into core concept of sustainable development. So, going formal from informal is important that collectivism must be formalized to reap benefits.

Expectations - I believe that community action is at the core of ISDF philosophy what COPASAH promotes and propagate specifically in health service delivery.
