KAPLET
ContextKAPLET is registered as a Community Based Organisation (or CBO) under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development in the Republic of Kenya. KAPLET was initiated so as to provide community paralegal services through legal education and legal first aid to low or no income slum dwellers of Kamukunji Constituency in Nairobi. The organisation is currently run by eighty five trained community paralegal workers all of whom are working as volunteers.
