Neha Gramin Mahila Vikas Samiti is  working on community need based issues at different districts of Bihar with focus on Nawada district. The organisation is involved in implementing community based health program including awareness, orientation and training to community on health issues. For the purpose it has developed resource materials and training materials and has also  developed community resource persons on health issues.

Approaches to implementing Community monitoring/accountability

We express our accountability in community health as community awareness, training, behavior change through repeated counseling and convergence with govt. health department for health services.

Results and lessons

Till now our organization have made awareness among more than one block and provided health services after behavior change/counseling by govt. health department. We have learned that there is great need of community awareness on health issues and it takes time. Along with community awareness also need have repeated counseling for behavior change. And ultimately they require health services a low cost.
