RAIN-UGANDA
ContextRAIN-UGANDA is involved in training community linkage facilitators and village health team members to advocate to quality health care services. Also advocate for equity and equality of health services. RAIN-UGANDA also advocates for the extension of cervical and breast cancer education and screening services to the rural poor along side HCT services.

Approaches to implementing Community monitoring/accountability
We promote by mobilising community members to seek medical care at the health centers that government send supplies. We facilitate meetings with local government and private and other civil society organisations. RAIN-UGANDA faciltates community focus group discussions with health care managers so that priorities are stated and clear accountabilities are done.
Results and lessons
We have been able to see an increased number of clients seeking health services. We have also seen reduced drug theft in government health facilities. We learned that the community members have the solutions to the problems, the community only luck focused leadership to address the problems.
