COPASAH SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY DIALOGUE SERIES
COPASAH launched its Social Accountability Dialogue Series (CoPSAD) in March 2017, with a view to facilitate mutual learning among practitioners and accountability thinkers across the globe. The series intends to enrich the field of social accountability with insights and experiences from the field of accountability practice.

On the occasion of the International Universal Health Coverage, which is a rallying point for the promise of health for all, COPASAH held a Social Accountability Dialogue Introducing the COPASAH Charter and Call for Social Accountability for Health on December 12, 2019. On the ‘International UHC Day’ to reiterate the promise of health for all, COPASAH shared the broad vision with the Charter and Call to Action of How Citizenship, Governance and Accountability processes can contribute towards better health and the well-being of all, including marginalised and deprived communities. Nearly 21 participants from different regions of Africa, UK, Central Europe, South Asia including practitioners, academicians and researchers participated in the Dialogue. The facilitators presented the points from the COPASAH charter as well as the Call to Action and how it envisages approaching different stakeholders. The participants welcomed the Charter and proposed different initiatives of taking the charter further through blogs, briefs and write ups as well through social media. Proposals were also made by participants to propagate the charter in their academic circles through write ups as well to take it further in global conferences and meets. There were suggestions in the Dialogue for observing International Social Accountability Day.

COPASAH Global Symposium 2019 Curtain Raisers (Thematic Webinars - Archives)
COPASAH Symposium Secretariat and Communication hub launched the CoPGS2019 Curtain Raisers: COPASAH Global Symposium 2019 Thematic Webinars series as a run up to the COPASAH Global Symposium on Citizenship, Governance and Accountability in Health, which the global network of COPASAH is hosting from October 15-18, in New Delhi India at the India Habitat Centre. The webinar series are a package of six thematic webinars which started from August 19, 2019 onwards and are slated to run up till the month of September 2019.
As a precursor to the COPASAH Symposium, the Curtain Raiser series are introducing thematic pitches and sessions of respective theme curated for the Symposium, acquainting the key speakers and contributors to the theme besides discussing strategic thematic deliberations and key issues and challenges of the themes.
